Jay G: G Sound Musik ...was created and established by Midwest native Jason "Jay G" Giles in Atlanta, GA in 2004. The vision behind this then production company was to create a sound that felt good in just being creative in the moment. In a new millenium where trends are impressionable, GSM believes and will always stand behind creativity and truth. WIth all types of music being funneled through the midwest, Milwaukee, Wisconsin has always been exposed to different forms of hip hop & other genres. Jay G recalls, "since we're between the east and west, we have a unique combination of both sides". As a young child, Jay G remembers spending summers in Tennessee with his dad. "That's where all of my funk & soul influences come from. My dad played records every morning faithfully!" With music all around him, it was inevitable that Jay G would eventually produce hits for all artist that come his way. Now as collegues and business partners, the two have made it a mission to conquer the music industry independently. Success has been on the dynamic duos side ever since and the sky is the limit!!
